Firmware: Phantom 3 Advanced Firmware v1.11.20. Released on 2017-07-06. I can fly with no limits till battery is exhausted but after I change the battery and take off again I am limited to 30 meters in distance and height. I am aware of the need to log out and log in to the application and I did that after installing the new firmware.
Like I said, I'm on -5 which is safe enough and still slow. You can go +10 -10 like other people did w/ NLD or w/e the software is. But I have screenshots of the 30m setting, so it was set as far as Go4 was concerned. DJI suggested trying beginner mode, because that would limit distance to 100’ and altitude to 100’. I set beginner mode, took off, and tried to fly away. The Mavic screeched to a halt just prior to 100’ away. So far so good.

I have the same issue when I am using Litchi. Then the flight is restricted to 30m height. I did not have the issue 7 days ago. The Mavic is on firmware 800. When I quit Litchi, start DJI Go 4, I get promoted with a flight warning. I confirm the dialog and the limit is removed immediately. I can then switch to Litchi and fly without restrictions.
