PA-FPace-F. Amar0259 it depends on the packages you have. You need to have the ICTP System which normally comes with the Technology Package. If you have ICT and not ICTP, you can't get Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. You can tell the difference mostly by the screen above the center stack.

I know my neighbor has a new BMW and can access Apple Carplay with OUT pluging in his iphone, that’s my goal here. I think I would have to take up one of my USB ports on a permanent basis. My phone(s) are not connected to Bluetooth through my device and literally both phones I use regularly work on any other vehicle for Apple Car Play. (I use rental cars frequently.) Has anyone had issues and have a work around. The USB port will connect, charge, and play music from my phone but does not read the device to transition to Car Play.What worked for me was to pair my iPhone via both Bluetooth and the USB port. My CarPlay experience has been flawless since (almost 6 months now). in your phone’s CarPlay settings you should see under “my cars” Kia and Kia-#### (see image below).
