I can't speak on behalf of GrandRP, but FiveM in general is WAY more secure then vanilla GTA Online right now. Your basically getting advice from 15 year olds who took 5 minutes to speed read 1 or 2 online twitch posts from their favorite Twitch Steamers with no actually understanding of Dev Work, Cybersecurity, or basic coding 101.
