A mk1 Mondeo estate was 4.63m long whilst a hatch was 4.48m. Compare that to a new focus estate at 4.67m long with the hatch being 4.38m. In short, the Mondeo got too big for many people. ST220 have 2 cats in the manifolds and thats it. MSDS headers might fit but its not a straight install due to the fact they dont have a Y-pipe so you'll need to adapt them. you may be able to fit the shorty header part and them get pipes made to go from there to the rest of the exhaust. www.STdriveRS.co.uk. Until then, the six-pot had been reserved for the plush Ghia X model, but the facelift brought with it a new performance flagship, the ST24, named The Dreamscience handset made 251 on a car with just an induction kit and run on 97octane which would lead me to believe with an exhaust and run on 99Octane with a remap would have a better chance of hitting 250.
